Szerencs is often called the Gate of the Hegyalja region: this is where the wine region of Tokaj meets the Taktaköz and the Harangod region. A World Heritage Portal was built at the entry of the town from the direction of Miskolc in order to help visitors arriving in our town and region to orient themselves.
Inside the Tourist Information Centre is a reception hall and an exhibition area .
