Erdőbénye-based Béres Winery has been selected by Hungarian wine trade magazine Bor és Piacas Hungary\'s Most Beautiful Wine Estate in 2015. The magazine has awarded this accolade annually since 2012, and Béres finished in the top three last year. This year, they came out on top of over a hundered entries.

Béres Winery was established in 2002 by the family that owns Hungary\'s best-known pharmceutical company, inventor of \'Béres Drops\', a very popular immune boosting nutritional supplement. Designed by Anthony Gall, an Australian-Hungarian architect, the state-of-the-art winery was built in 2006 in the scenic setting of Erdőbénye\'s Lőcse Vineyard and went on to win an architectural excellence award the following year. Béres currenly has 45 hectares in three vineyard sites on the outskirts of Erdőbénye.
